In January 2020, Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort began a hotel remodeling project expected to take about two and a half years to complete. There are nine dining establishments and bars, and a 6,500-capacity indoor concert venue and 16,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater on the property, both hosting various shows and events. The 210,000-square-foot casino on the property currently boasts more than 3,300 slot machines, 70 table games, a live poker room, a retail sportsbook and a bingo hall. Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is owned and operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Nation. The casino opened in 1996 and the resort in 1998.
